FEOdome is an artist inspired by the comic book world and the sci-fi genre. This influence has led FEOdome to experiment with sculptural elements while also using fluorescent paint and moss to realize some of the more fantastical concepts. In the era of AI and 3D printing, this tactile approach to making art keeps the joy of creating alive in the artist.
"RiaFP" is inspired by the mutant nation of Krakoa. With this piece, I had a general idea of what I wanted and after the first layers of magic sculpt, celluclay and paint, I had to pivot the concept. Originally, the opening in the middle was going to be left alone but I didn't feel the texture was right. The rose petals were added to balance the composition and gave a whole new context to the overall piece. The final piece gave me several inspirations for future art works and I'm very inspired to push the concepts and materials further.
