This piece titled, “Schrodinger’s Cat” depicts the thought experiment devised by physicist Erwin Schrödinger, which describes the paradox of quantum superpositions. Painting with a dark, and ominous color pallet helped me evoke the absurdity of this cosmic conundrum. By softly dry brushing the cat in the forefront, onto the cat behind it, I was able to capture a feeling I get when pondering the surreality of the quantum world.
